Wale is known to be a Foamposite fanatic and has appeared in many of the newer colorways months before they were released through retailers. His bleak response in no way confirms a collaboration is actually in the works, but the thought of such a thing isn’t far fetched given his history with the silhouette.
Is Wale secretly working with Nike on a special release of the Nike Air Foamposite? That’s the speculation circling the web as the hip hop artist recently hinted at the possibility of a collaboration with Nike via Twitter. When a fan tweeted the artist earlier today to tell him how he should have his own signature Foamposite, the DMW artist simply responded with, “Stay Tuned”.
