Today, House of Hoops locations nationwide opened their doors with a couple new high school inspired releases. One of them is the Nike Zoom Solder IV “Christ the King”, LeBron James’ playoff-turned-team model honoring Christ the King Regional High School in Middle Valley, NY, a school which Nike and LeBron have long supported. Starting off with a White leather base, the Nike Zoom Soldier IV pulls the color’s of the Zips together using Navy Blue as a secondary color on the side panels, tongue ,cross-strap and lining, with a small dose of Gold as an accent on the trim around the side Swoosh and panels , and lion head design on emboridered on the tongue.Advancing a few years above the high school level we now have a look at an upcoming Nike Zoom Soldier IV showing some love for the University of Akron and the Zips, the university’s basketball team. Finally, encase the color palette isn’t evident enough for which university they represent, Akron’s Zippy the Kangaroo logo is printed on the heel counter.
